Well, I finally finished the second novella between books 2 and 3 of the Skyward series by Brandon Sanderson, and I have to confess I found them a bit boring.
There are important things happening in this novella, so it’s important to read it before book 3, but I feel the novellas could have been shorter, there were times that I found myself zoning out while reading it and I had to reread that page because I was bored and I wasn’t paying attention.
This book is narrated by Alanik, we learn more about her people and her planet and alliances are made against the Superiority. What I love the most about these novellas are the taynix, how they function, how cute they are…I promise there were times I forced myself to keep reading just for them.
