I finished this book last week, I’m honestly impressed that I’ve already finished two books this year (and I’m over halfway of another), but yeah, I flew through this book, it was a reread but I didn’t remembered most of the plot so it was nice to rediscover it again.
In this book, Wax, Wayne and Marasi are investigating the murderers of several important people of the city, and they find out they may be facing something so ancient and powerful they may not be able to win.
I love the parts about Wayne, they’re more funny and relaxed, and it gives you a break from all the drama and intensity of the plot. I didn’t remember at all the endind, I didn’t remember it was so heartbreaking, I went to bed crying after finishing it.
I’ve loved rereading this book, I’m looking forward to read the third one again, rereading this series also makes me want to reread the first Mistborn trilogy, and maybe I’ll do it this year.
