I finished this book a few das ago, I wanted to finish it (because I wanted to know how it ends), but on the other hand I didn’t want it to end, it has been definitely one of my favourite books I read so far this year.
Dex and Mosscap began their journey through the villages and cities so the robot Mosscap can ask humans his question: what do humans need? It’s a journey of discovery in every sense, Mosscap discovers things and is fascinating by virtually everything, and so Dex also learns to appreciate some things he’d maybe been tking for granted.
There’s a lot of deep conversations and discussions of important and interesting topics, and the end could not be better, you may have a plan, but during the process you may change, your needs and wantings may change, and so maybe your original plan is not what you want anymore, and that’s ok.
Amazing duology, I know there’s still a lot of months until the year ends, but I’m certain this duology will be among my favourite books of this year.
