I’ve realised that in my TBR photo I have the third book of this trilogy instead of the second…but anyway, the one that I really wanted to read was this, ‘Siege and Storm’, the second book on the Grisha trilogy.
Even though I liked it, I found it like a bit boring or ‘basic’ at times, I feel like it’s the ‘I run away and you end up catching me’ all the time. I didn’t like the way the relationship between Alina and Mal develops in this book, and I find it a bit stupid how Alina keeps defending Genya after what she did, but anyway…I love the character of Nikolai, he’s my new favourite character in this book and what makes this book a bit better in my opinion.
For what I wrote it seems like I didn’t like the book, but I did! It’s entertaining and a quick read, it just isn’t as exciting as I thought it would be, but I would definitely pick up the third book probably next month.
