Well well well…look who’s finished her first book in weeks! I’m slowly getting out of my reading slump and I couldn’t be happier! The other day I finished “Starsight” by Brandon Sanderson and I honestly don’t know how it has taken me so long to finish this book, it’s so good!
In this book we learn more about the different races of aliens and their particularities, our protagonist, Spensa, has to go on an infiltration mission, which is not her forte, so you can imagine that things get more complicated than it should…
Spensa has to live among her ‘enemies’, but she realise that she has not been fighting against monsters, as she thought, that her enemies were also people with a life, family…so she has to face some hard truths. In this book we also discover an important secret about Doomslug, Spensa’s pet slug, that’s going to be the key to change everything.
I’ve really enjoyed this book, I think I now have to read two short novellas before reading the third book of this series but the more to read the better!
