Well, that title is a bit of a lie, I’ve run before, but I’ve always end up leaving it. I don’t want to be a runner, or to run 5 times per week, but running is something that I’ve been wanting to incorporate into my routine for a long time, there’s not really a reason, it’s just appealing to me and I’d like to be able to run even if it’s at a slow pace for more than 5 minutes without dying.

So, the other day I just went crazy and thought all of a sudden “I’m going out for a run”, and just like that, I got dressed and went running, the night before I drank alcohol, I’d slept less than 4 hours, it was not the ideal situation to start a new and demanding sport, but there I went.

To be honest, the first 5 minutes I thought I was going to die, but I kept pushing and it eventually became “easier”. I didn’t want to force it too much on my first day, I ended up running for 20 minutes and I’m very pleased with that, I enjoyed the experience and I’d like to run at least once a week, I’ll update my progress here, so I can also look back and see if I’m improving.
